See notes on page showing Offsets INSIDE which is more common way to connect offset valves to side or back connected gage. When valve offsets are turned away from each other (OUTSIDE) as shown here, the valve C-C is extended out beyond the Gage Port Centers. This is not often required or desired but may occur when retrofitting. Sometimes a side or back connected gage has already been ordered or obtained from warehouse stock. The table below will show another choice for vessel C-C using 3/4" internal offset gage valves. You can check the C-C to see if it might be useful to orient the valve offsets away from each other (OUTSIDE). Use the following formula to calculate Valve Centers using other gage port centers or other valves: (A) Gage Port Centers + (F x 2) Valve Offset x 2 = (C) Valve Centers (offsets pointed OUTSIDE) F = Valve Offset = 3/4" for Model 15A and 25P Gage Valves. This dimension is used in Table below. Other valves with 7/8" offset (15J, 25J) require 1/4" adjustment. See note above Table. Use either Single Union or Double Union valves, C-C is same. Add 1/4" (6.3mm) when using valves with 7/8" internal offset
