Use SIDE or BACK connected gages to get more visible glass length in a limited C-C distance. The Table below shows MINIMUM gage port centers. When using straight pattern gage valves (as opposed to offset) or just straight piping such as the Floating Unions the Gage Port Centers must equal the Vessel Centers unless a dog leg is introduced. Longer gage port centers may be specified at time of order to make an exact match to your vessel.

Tip: Sometimes instead of using both lateral ports as shown here the lower (bottom) connection and the upper side or back connection may sometimes be used (or vice versa).
