Available in low emissions, for more details see document "FT15-LE" below
Single Union vessel connection conforms to NACE MR0175, "Free-Turn” design suitable for sour gas and brine… much longer service life than conventional gage valves
-Offset Pattern- permits clean-out using brush -Automatic Safety Ball Checks
Available sizes: -Union Vessel: 1/2”, 3/4”, 1” M-NPT; also Male SW and Flanged -Rigid Gage: 1/2” or 3/4” F-NPT -Rigid Vent & Drain: 1/2” or 3/4” F-NPT
Materials of Construction: -A105N -A350 LF2 -F182 F316L
Valve stem packing is solid PTFE bushing but also available with braided fugitive emission graphite packing
Standard metallurgy is fine grain carbon steel, normalized per ASTM A105N. Materials can be heat treated where required for service to -50°F, ask for “Low Temp Carbon Steel, or LF2”. Also available in forged T316 SS
Options: -Press-in valve seat made of abrasion resistant Inconel, for steam service -Long Stem for reaching through insulation
Why customers like Inferno gage valves…
A Viton O-ring is provided in the vessel union for easier fit-up in the field. This can insure no leakage at the union providing angular misalignments are reasonable
The standard, most popular vessel connection is designed with a narrowed neck on the shank and an undercut in the union nut. The combination permits ± 1/8” movement of the shank around the face of the valve body in all directions. This translates into adjustability of C-C of ± 1/4”, one-third more than our nearest competitor
Conforms to NACE MR0175: "Free-Turn” design offers a longer service life compared to older style, conventional gage valves
Patented Design: “Packing below the threads” isolates the valve workings from the process….Ensures low operating torque…. Especially suited for brine and sour gas
Offset Pattern: Permits clean-out using brush
Automatic Safety Ball Checks: Provide rapid shut-off of process fluid in the event of a sudden pressure drop due to glass failure or seal blow-out
